Comment: Thank you all for the well wishes for Frank.  What the photos on 'Hell Hole' page did not show:bathroom (only a shower) so small he has to open the door to dry himself. He has only the kitchen sink to wash his face. Lots of stuff had to be removed so photos could be taken. In fact, the rooms are more cluttered then the phots showed,as those 3 rooms store everything he needs.

Comment: Good to see that this problem is getting some publicity. For years these issues have been hidden because noone has wanted to talk about them. I'm glad there has been some light at the end of the tunnel for Frank and I hope he can move on now.

Comment: The most inexplicable (and consequently inexcusable) aspect of this case seems to be the willingness of the children to act without regard for their father's dignity, his self-respect. The fact that Frank (now, finally) seems to be doing well is nigh on miraculous. Good luck to you, Frank -- may your next 8 years be better than the previous.

My best wishes to him. Perhaps someone should see that he gets some redress. Such a shame that he is now without a family after his long yers of hardwork. Comment: There must have been relationship problems in the family. Still this does not excuse the children of Frank to delay the property settlement that they seemed to have control of. Reading between the lines in this story, there must be financial gains to the children for them to attempt not to work towards their parents property settlement. If that was the case; then they should be ashamed. If there was a system in our society to expose the names of such abusers, then perhaps they'll think twice before doing harm to the elders. Comment: I have spent a great deal of time this week volunteering my services to victims of elder abuse, and there is only one side to Elder Abuse Ugly, Uglier and Ugliest.Elder Abusers are worst than vultures, a vulture will wait until you are dead to pick your bones. Elder Abusers extend No such courtesy.

Comment: The behaviour of these children towards their father should astound me. It's an odd thing however, but I have noticed that those who have had it very easy in their childhood and come to believe that they are entiltled to everything in life as if by right are often incapable of empathising with their parents. Comment: Attempts were made to shut me up and shut me down. There has not been any private approaches to point out the lies and deceits charges. There is a big box of documentary evidences(of diff. medium) ready for the perusal of an independent third party. I started out just presenting the facts and asking the question Is this Elder Abuse? None of the experts have said anything else. The fastest way to shut down this site is to prove us wrong.

Comment: Whenever someone is trying to shut down a source of information is because they are afraid that they cannot refute true facts with their brand of arguments that are usually without base. This is called a conclusory statement. The webmaster should be able to exercise the right of free speech without intimidation, and oppressive tactics.The goal of speaking out for our elders is a lofty one. I myself a webmaster have had my share of slander and I ignore it, or take it head on and disseminate it and explain to the public why I think that it is incorrect. In Australia the citizens are educated enough to make up their own minds about facts presented to them. To want to close down a web site is an insult to the citizens themselves. Comment: i think franks ex-wife is behind the way his children treated him. i don't understand why his kids treated him that way. the bible said honor thy father and mother not just thy mother. but they will answer to god for what they did to there father

Comment: Please pass on my best wishes to Frank. Nobody, elderly or otherwise, should have to go through this degree of abuse. Maybe some day when Frank's children are older, their own kids will treat them in the same way, but I suspect that's not something Frank will want to hear, its obvious that even after all they have done, he still loves those children as their father, otherwise they wouldn't be able to go on hurting him.
